This project explored the possibilities of roundwood compared to manufactured wood with the idea of experimenting repeatable processes as well as roundwood assembly. To achieve this goal, tools such as wood scanning and assisted wood assembly were introduced with Rhino3D. These tools, with the use of some Grasshopper, helped to analyse how roundwood connections are made and also served to establish the basis of the next task: to construct an auditorium.

These are some prototype roundwood assemblies, not only using timber but with the addition of metal plates and tubes. These prototypes explore the limit  of the rotation of the wood in a situation where modules had to turn around a certain point.
